A small cosy coffee place with specialty coffee. It was lovely to have a catch up with the owner about the coffee they serve. She was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely visit again.

A small café with a good atmosphere and excellent coffee. The service is very pleasant and willing to advise when buying coffee beans. We felt welcome in the coffee shop, so in any case I recommend it to everyone!

Enjoyed a delicious oat-milk cappucino and matcha cookie in this cute cafe located in a quieter part of Cologne. The coffee was tasty and adorned with nice latte art, and the cookie was the perfect combo of texture and flavour. A really nice way to start the day! Relaxing and creative atmosphere, with friendly staff that speak English well. Cat pics pop up where you least expect them. See how many can you find!

WIEWALDI became my go-to spot during my 3-night stay in Köln — I went back every single day for their flat white. Honestly, it’s one of the best and most memorable I’ve ever had, and I still miss it dearly. I especially loved the fruity notes, which really set it apart since most flat whites tend to be quite dark. A must-visit for any coffee lover in Köln!

If you think you’re coming to Wiewaldi just for the coffee, think again .... you’re also here to pay homage to Cologne’s true caffeine monarch: Waldi the cat. This is not just a café, it’s Waldi’s kingdom, and you are but a humble guest allowed to sip espresso in his court. The coffee? So smooth it should come with a warning label. The atmosphere? Relaxed and welcoming, like a stylish living room where time slows down and the cat always gets the best seat. The barista was absolutely super friendly and genuinely lovely, making the place feel as warm as the coffee in your cup. Come for the flat white, stay for that magical moment when Waldi strolls past, pauses, and gives you a look that silently says, “You could be doing better in life.” 10/10 would accept the judgment again.
